Inspired by the ancient art of resist-dyeing, this piece mimics the visual tension of a woven fabric. Horizontal bands of vivid red streak across the surface, their edges softened and "feathered" to evoke the rhythmic imperfections of hand-tied yarn. Pale green accents drift beneath the red, creating a layered, painterly depth.  The warm, off-white body provides a steady ground for the "motion," allowing the colours to vibrate with a soft, energetic glow. 

The bowl is sculpted with a gentle, undulating rim and a cinched, elegant foot, lending it a sense of organic growth. Inside, the vessel holds a surprise—a serene, lime-tinted glaze that fills the interior like a pool, framed by a delicate indigo-blue rim that anchors the entire composition.
